The FLA Purpose
Forbes Learning Academy is a top-rated private educational institute in Chaguanas Trinidad, established in 2023 by husband-and-wife couple, Mr. Nicholas Forbes and Mrs. Cherise Forbes, Principal and Vice Principal respectively.
The pair are dedicated believers in Jesus Christ, who recognize this Academy as a sacred mandate and their role in the development of the children not just as educators, but as stewards.
At the heart of Forbes Learning Academy is a vision for education that transcends traditional academics. The principals are deeply committed to cultivating an environment where every child is empowered to reach their highest potential academically and spiritually.
As a parent, you can expect the FLA experience to be one where you encounter a community of co-parenting. We have ZERO tolerance for Bullying and ensure that the environment that we provide will be safe, conducive to learning and full of Godly love.

We Believe in the Power of Co-parenting
We understand the importance of building solid relationships, particularly in today’s complex world where parenting has more challenges than ever before. That’s why we encourage parent communication with management. Our doors and digital channels remain open for feedback and strategizing for the development of upstanding students and citizens. Our app facilitates parent communication in real time while we avail ourselves to meet with parents, not only at PTA meetings, but as needed for the betterment of the child.
Our Teaching Methods
Differentiated Learning
We deliver our lessons using a mix of traditional and modern approaches. We give notes in class via the whiteboard, and these notes are shared digitally for reference.
We utilize technology to reinforce teachings e.g. videos, songs, digital games such as Kahoot and more. Ai is also being utilized, not only in planning but executing lessons.
We also engage learning by doing. Mid-term projects, presentations and using teaching aids in class e.g. puppets, blocks, puzzles etc. are all engaged to ensure that the lesson is received by all.
