Who we are
Forbes Learning Academy is a privately run educational institute, with a mandate to transform lives through education and the development of Godly character. FLA was jointly founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife couple, Mr. Nicholas Forbes and Mrs. Cherise Forbes, Principal and Vice Principal respectively. The pair have wholeheartedly set out to deliver more than just education, but an encounter of followship, community, co-parenting and Godly love.
Each staff member is carefully selected to ensure that they understand the vision and choose to live the vision daily as a member of the FLA team.

We Believe in the power of Co-parenting
We understand the importance of building solid relationships, particularly in today’s complex world where parenting has more challenges than ever before. That’s why we encourage parent communication with management. Our doors and digital channels remain open for feedback and strategizing for the development of upstanding students and citizens. Our app facilitates parent communication in real time while we avail ourselves to meet with parents, not only at PTA meetings, but as needed for the betterment of the child.
Our Teaching Methods
Differentiated Learning
We deliver our lessons using a mix of traditional and modern approaches. We give notes in class via the whiteboard, and these notes are shared digitally for reference.
We utilize technology to reinforce teachings e.g. videos, songs, digital games such as Kahoot and more. Ai is also being utilized, not only in planning but executing lessons.
We also engage learning by doing. Mid-term projects, presentations and using teaching aids in class e.g. puppets, blocks, puzzles etc. are all engaged to ensure that the lesson is received by all.
